Brack's Secret Part 7The trees and bushes rustled as black clouds covered the sky. Brack shivered as he walked with Teal farther into the forest. He had never been in a storm before. If he was, he didn't remember it at all.
"I can barely see!" he barked to the Healer of the pack.
Teal looked up at the sky worriedly. The puffy dark clouds seemed to be moving fast, and the wind was getting stronger. "There's going to be a storm," she shouted over the whistling of the wind.
"Like I didn't know that," Brack snapped back. "I've never been in one before, but my mom told me all about how the Water Elemental Wolf and the Electricity Elemental Wolf teamed up to create a thunderstorm."
Teal nodded. "She's right. Sometimes a dragon does it, and that's when it gets worse. Usually when a dragon creates a storm, the sky goes green and a strange pitch black funnel comes and wrecks everything."
"I didn't hear of that story." Brack frowned.
"Well, it's true," Teal said. "I've never been in a storm like that before. Those a
Brack's Secret Part 6Birds chirping and singing woke Brack up that morning. He closed his eyes, scowling, as the sunlight filtered through the warriors-in-training den. It had been a busy day yesterday, just like it had been almost every day since he joined Sapphire Pack.
"Brack~!" Lucky barked.
Brack rolled over, his back to the ground. "What is it...?" he groaned sleepily. Slowly, he opened one yellow eye. It fixed on Lucky.
Lucky seemed to have a worried expression on his face. "Have you seen Rin?"
"No..." Brack's heart fluttered for some reason. He was always like that around the gray wolf. "Where'd she go?"
The yellow wolf shrugged. "Who knows? She disappeared off the face of the earth."
"Let's go look for her," Brack announced, pushing himself to his paws. His weariness faded away, to be replaced with large amounts of energy.
Lucky tilted his head, frowning. "What if the warriors find out?"
"They won't." Brack padded out of the den, stretching his muscles. He lifted his head and tasted the air. Her s
Brack's Secret Part 5"Brack! Wake up!"
A black paw prodded him on the side, and Brack woke with a groan. "What do you want now, Bear?" Can't he wake me up later? He always makes me get up early, Brack thought, huffing.
Bear growled. "We have a training session today, remember? I told you yesterday. If you don't stay up so late, you would be wide awake by now."
"Sorry," Brack said, but he rolled his eyes. He wished Pereus was still his trainer. Bear was always too mad. "So I'm going to fight you?"
"Of course." Bear nodded. "I hope you're not too tired. I don't want an easy opponent."
Brack narrowed his eyes. He had to admit he was a bit nervous, especially if he was fighting wolves who always gave criticism. "Let's go, then," he said with a flick of his ear.
Bear led the way through the thorn barrier, Brack following at his tail. The forest seemed to be a lot louder today. Birds were chirping at each other; squirrels and mice were running away from each other like they were playing a game of tag. B
Brack's Secret Part 4The sun shined its bright light on the moorland as Brack trekked through the grass. Lifting one paw up, he sniffed the air for any sign of his mother. She had been missing for a while, and now he was determined to find her.
Brack lowered his paw and walked to the small cave with a tree trunk next to it. Maybe his mother would be here, in his old home. There was a rustling sound in the cave, and Brack quivered with excitement. A couple rocks fell from on top of the cave. "Mother!" Brack screamed, sprinting toward the cave as fast as he could. Without thinking it could be another animal, he flung himself into his home.
The cave was empty. Tilting his head with confusion, Brack started toward the back of the cave, where his messy nest lay. To Brack's surprise, a pitch black egg was seated on the nest, and a dragon was resting beside it. "Where's mother?" Brack asked quietly.
Unfortunately, it was too loud for the dragon. First, she perked her ears, then opened her eyes and looked at him.
Brack's Secret Part 3Brack walked out of the warriors-in-training den, looking around for his trainer, Bear. Recently, Pereus had stopped being his trainer so he could train Rin.
Rin walked out from behind Brack and glanced around. "Where are they?"
Brack shrugged. "I don't know. Hey, let's go check the warrior's den."
Rin looked pretty worried, but she followed him to the huge bush anyway. Brack poked his head inside and whispered, "Pereus? Bear?"
A twitch of a blue ear told Brack that Rin's trainer was in there.
"Coming," he growled, pushing himself to his paws and walking out. "It's early; the dawn patrol just headed out not too long ago. What do you want?"
Excitement burst through Brack's paws. "Can you teach me and Rin a battle move?"
Pereus's eyes drooped with exhaustion. "When we find Bear," he said slowly.
"Is Bear missing?" Brack didn't really like the gray wolf, but now his excitement changed to worry.
Pereus rolled his eyes. "No. I just don't know where he is. He could be out hunting with Blizza
AerosolIt has been a day and a half since the crash, and I have found a cabin. In some ways, this is a relief. I don’t know if I could face another night on the mountain without shelter. Outside, a fire does no good: the heat simply travels upwards. However, this place also raises some difficult questions. I estimate that I’ve put eight miles between myself and the crash site. I don’t know if this will be enough. It Saving...

The survival manual recommends staying with the plane. It explains that this affords the best chance of rescue. It explains that the wreckage offers warmth and shade. It explains that seventy percent of pilots who stay are located within three days, while seventy percent of those who leave are
